Speed Dating Bath
Fancy meeting loads of new people and enjoying a top night out in Bath? Single and looking for love? Speed dating makes the perfect way to spend an evening in Bath and we have plenty of upcoming speed dating and singles events to choose from.
Speed Dating is best enjoyed when not taken too seriously. The propect of meeting so many new people and likeminded singles in just one evening and the chance to meet someone really special, help to make our speed dating events great fun and really exciting!
In fact, our guests have told us our singles events are SO MUCH FUN, they are almost worth staying single for! The only trouble with going speed dating regularly is... you won't stay single for long! Among the first events ever done in the UK were run by When the Music Stops, who operate our events. Bath is among the best towns for Speed
Dating in the UK. Sure, the population has something to do with it, but lets not forget how
fast and active Bath is with people leading a very busy lifestyle. The average Brit is working more hours than ever before and we naturally treasure our leisure time.
Almost everyone has now heard about the whole Speed Dating phenomenon, but how does it actually work and why has it grown so
popular? First and foremost, because it is simply great fun. Speed dating makes for a great evening out and works brilliantly in finding someone you click with.
Usually the first step is to check our listings of upcoming events to see what we have in your area and choose an event to suit you.
It is essential to book well in advance, as spaces often fill up quickly. There are also incentive to book earlier, such as reduced ticket prices.
When you arrive at our events, we'll greet you on the allocated evening at 7pm to register for a 7:30 start. From here you will be welcomed by our friendly hosts before an explanation
of the night's speed dating procedures. You have around 4-6 minutes to spend with each guest of the opposite sex before
a bell rings. You then note the person's name and number on your scorecard and tick "yes", "no" or "maybe/friend" as to whether you want to see that person again. The men rotate to the next table
for the second round of "Speed Dates", and so it continues.
We usually have two breaks during the evening to let everyone catch up with their scorecards and give everyone a breather. The night finishes
around 10pm by which time all the guys and girls have met each other. The scorecards are then handed back
to the event organiser and contact details of your mutual matches are sent out within a couple of days.
